This is a small watercolor of the Spanish village of Calella de Palafrugell, the location of next May's workshop in Spain. I took quite a few liberties, especially with the foreground in order to get a composition I liked. Nothing new about that.
The story here was the water. Looks like a great place to paint.

Watercolor Workshop in Spain
I'm very excited to announce a new workshop in Spain next year. I'm extremely pleased that it will be co-led with my friend and amazing watercolorist, Iain Stewart.
The workshop will take place in a small fishing village along the Costa Brava.. It is being organized by Jackie Grandchamps at French Escapade, http://www.frenchescapade.com. Visit her website for more information. If you want to get hold of me, reply to this post.
It should be a great time!
