Triton Museum Statewide Watercolor Exhibition

I'm pleased to learn that two of my paintings have been juried into the Statewide Watercolor Exhibiton at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, California. The show runs from December 8, 2012 through February 3, 2013. The opening reception is December 7, 2012.
This is a biannual exhibit open to California watercolorists. Two years ago I received Best of Show. I doubt lightning will strike twice.

    I wouldnt be surprised if lightning did strike twice in your case Michael and I hope it does - good luck, the paintings are fabulous - such wonderful light - oh to be able to paint like you - maybe in my dreams!

    Love them both, Michael ... congratulations on getting them juried in.
    The second one is SO Spanish to my eyes.

    Bit too far to come to see the show: from the wilds of Yorkshire to the Californian sunshine.

    Thanks, John. Yes, it is flattering just to be included. And yes, Yorkshire is a bit far. Perhaps another time ;).
    The second one is the Ponte Sant'Angelo in Rome. In fact, both of these are from Rome.

    Thanks, Wren. It's always good to hear from you. In fact I just got back from driving to the museum to drop them off through the driving rain:(. I think painting is like handwriting, everyone has their own unique style...
